Dr. Berg answers the question, do you need to be 100% organic. Organic means without pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and free of GMO. What are the dangers? It will put you at risk of cancer and disease. These chemicals alter your chemistry, your genes, your DNA – this is called mutation. These chemicals are called toxins or poisons. Cruciferous vegetables help turn poisons into harmless chemicals, and this is called phase I and II detoxification. This includes kale, radish, broccoli, arugula, boy choy, cabbage and Brussels sprouts. Its really a matter of how much cruciferous vegetables are you consuming versus how much non-organic food with toxins are you being exposed too.
