Have healthy food, will travel
Jacksonville, FL. Lubbock, TX. Lafayette, LA. Los Angeles, CA. Bowling Green, KY.
So goes my travel schedule between now and July 25, thanks to fitness conferences and master trainer obligations.
That’s a lot of time away from my home-prepped food. A lot of flights. A lot of airports and new cities with unfamiliar food options.
Specifically, that’s a lot of opportunity for going off the rails from Operation Shredded!
The only way to survive the next month with my sanity – and my health and fitness – intact, is by planning and packing smart, tasty food options.
Thursday morning on the three-hour drive to Jacksonville for a work meeting, I packed my Mexican-inspired egg casserole, which is totally delicious cold and travels well:
… but these Paleo Protein Bars! So tasty and portable!
- Hard boiled eggs
- Baby carrots
- Advocare Meal Replacement Shakes
- Grilled turkey burger patties or chicken breasts
I am off to Lubbock, Texas this weekend to train up some new Shockwave coaches! The training doesn’t start until noon, so I am hoping to explore the home of Texas A&M by pavement as I get a few miles in!
